Star Wars 3-D Millennium Falcon!!!

Star Wars 3-D Millennium Falcon by Scholastic
Scholastic Inc., Hardcover
9780545210386, 24pp.

Okay, Star Wars fans here’s something amazing and fun! (Yes! I’m using LOTS of exclamation marks!!!) This “board book” shows the detail to Han Solo’s renowned ship The Millennium Falcon! The book shows level by level cross-section views of the Millennium Falcon. It’s done like a board book with 24 pages. The effect is impressive! Short and sweet. The book speaks for itself. But you’ll want to pick it up and thumb through this baby! (Not that I did! Ha! Are you kidding? You couldn’t stop me.) I love this kind of stuff! After I saw the first Star Wars movie I was a danger to myself and others on the highway when I drove home from the theater. I was driving my Mazda (Millennium Falcon) 626 and acting like I was being pursued by X-wing fighters! I was alive after that movie! And this book brings back some of those memories of the film. What a rush!

Relive the memories with this book! I’m not gushing, am I? Please, don’t let me drool in public!

This book is really intense. It's hard to get the sense of it in a picture, but the pages are die-cut and layers to make a 3D model of the Falcon. You just have to see it. I'm suggesting this book as a birthday present for my soon to be 5 year old. I know it will live in his bed.

Yes, this book is only best experienced by picking it up and going through it. I don't think folks truly appreciate how brilliant it truly is. AND it's written as if it was an owner's manual to the Millennium Falcon. Thanks for pointing this out, Katrina.
