Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three of the Fifty Shades Trilogy By E.L. James

Fifty Shades Freed: Book Three of the Fifty Shades Trilogy

Oh Ana and Christian, how I will miss you! I fell in love your truly believable and utterly unbelievable love story- I know, quite the contradiction there! Well, think about it, innocent, lonely, lovely Anastasia Steele meets ubber rich, ubber controlling, undeniably hot Christian and the sparks fly. But what he asks of her; to be his submissive- is it something she can do? Apparently not and their break-up shatters them both, leaving them broken, but finally able to see their own truths. When they finally reunite, their passion and love for each other is undeniable. But Christian’s past is not really in the past, as much as he wants it to be, and in order to move on he must face his demons with Ana at his side. If they can do that together- they can do anything.

Ana is a girl with her own demons (none as severe as Christian’s but hey we all have demons right?) Flynn points out that Ana under values herself at every turn. But it is in her unconditional love of Christian that she finally sees how he sees her and can finally move beyond that. I found myself laughing with her and wanting to step into her shoes.

And Christian, the ultimate bad boy in good boy clothing. How could you not want to save the poor grey eyed, auburn haired boy? He is one the best written males in a series in a while! He has depth for days and he is relate-able ( in a way of course- he makes $100,000 an hour, seriously?!)

I wanted all the best for this amazing couple and was so happy with this series that I had to take to the internet to tell everyone that THIS IS THE SERIES TO READ!

Okay, so let’s be honest, there was a TON of sex scenes in this book and the idea of a BDSM may not be what you’re  into- but it’s not what the book is about. I was put off and almost didn’t read the story because I thought it would be some cheesy romance novel with raunchy sex scenes. And seriously, I didn’t want to read about some domineering guy beating up a girl- But that IS NOT WHAT IT IS ABOUT AT ALL!!!! I was drawn to the book because of Ana and the enigmatic Christian. The sex is hot and really well done. The language is subdued and while you will blush it is not done in such a way that it seems at all trashy or dirty. I gave this book a shot and I loved it and I really believe that if people gave it a real shot they will to. Want to know the quote that sealed my fate for this book? It’s on page 24 of the first book,

“Sometimes I wonder if there’s something wrong with me. Perhaps I’ve spent too long in the company of my literary romantic heroes, and consequently my ideals and expectations are for too high.” Ana Steele

I hope you enjoy! Leave me a note and let me know how you felt.
